Order Smartcat Tiger Diner Portion Control Food Dish With Placemat Smart Cat

I own (am owned by?) three cats, two of which like to eat their food so fast that they would throw it up after, though they are perfectly healthy, even with giving them measure meals of a fourth of a cup each twice a day instead of letting them free feed. I was so overjoyed to find this product that I had to order it. The ones I ordered came with a bonus of a cloth place mat.

I ordered two to be on the safe side, not knowing exactly how much it would hold. Turns out, if you put the short tube in, it holds a cup of food. Perfect!

All three responded with curiosity as I set them down. Magick, my 14year old cat took to it immediately and began fishing out bits of kibble with his paws. Who says you can't teach an old cat new tricks! Next was Timmy, who is usually scared of any change, but this presented a new challenge for him and he liked it because he was once again allowed to free feed. Sophie, my Snow Bengal, was the last to change, but by the next day she'd caught on and was happily fishing out kibble and eating it one piece at a time.

The kitty bulimia problem is solved and I've had no wet messes to clean up since they started using the feeders. All three cats seem happier with the added challenge and the food always being available. And, as an added benefit, I no longer have to worry about being home at feeding time. I couldn't be happier.

The only very minor problem I had was that the feeder, even with the place mat, would slide around if the cats got too playful in their feeding and travel - not sure what they were doing but when I got up in the morning after the first night, they had slid one of the feeders about a foot and a half away. This was easily resolved as I had a roll of the rubber anti-slip shelf liner and I just a mat-sized piece and placed it under the mat. I did the same for the second one, too.

An inexpensive product that does as advertised - solving serious issues of overeating and food gobbling, stimulating the cats, and additionally reducing stress for both my cats and me - that is a serious win in my book. And Magick, Timmy, and Sophie all agree.Get more detail about Smartcat Tiger Diner Portion Control Food Dish With Placemat Smart Cat.
