My 12 year old Bichon had a medical problem and had to be confined to a crate for 3 weeks. She was on a medicine that caused her to drink a lot of water. I only had a water dish to put in her crate and she continually knocked it over. So I decided to buy the Lixit Dog Waterer. What a blessing it was. Being 75 years old, it was wearing me out, putting dry towels in her crate and drying her off. Now she could get water any time she wanted it, even if I happened to be gone for an hour or so.
