This product works as it says it does. It filters water and stores it. The problem is (minus the giant size) is that my cat didn't really like it. He prefers his water dish. I change his water once or twice a day and he likes that much better than the water stored in this fountain.
I use a PUR water filter and he enjoys the water that I give him from that over the water filtered in this. Purchasing a PUR filter is more cost effective any way (considering we do not drink botteled water for ethical reasons) and the cat likes it better.
