The PetSafe pet food station does what it's designed to do, but it looks and feels very cheap. It looks much nicer in the pictures. The whole feeder is made of thin lightweight plastic. The bowl portion is plastic, and has a removable stainless bowl. The feeder portion is similar to a gallon plastic water bottle. There is no way to control the portions of food it distributes. All the food is open to the air, so food stored in the feeder will go stale quickly. I have the "medium" size, and its huge. If you're considering this for a cat or small dog, get the "small" size.
