I think the 'concept' is wonderful...however, for a 14# Shih-Tzu that 'inhales' his food...this is not working very well. I still have to give him tiny 'portions' to slow him down. I do believe the sections are too large for a smaller dog. I happened to leave the bowl down after he was finished eating one day and he chewed all three raised sections....so....the bowl is now ruined and useless to him....and to me.
