We purchased the largest one 19 years ago (honest!) from LL Bean. We LOVE this barrel feeder! Over the last year or two, the wood towards the bottom is getting black and soft (from age/humidity, etc., I'm sure), so we are looking to replace it. We never use any type of trash bag liner, and yes, the crumbs accumulate at the bottom, but every once in a while we take the barrel, empty it completely, and let it air out in the sunshine on a nice day. Works like a charm! We love the fact that it sits flush against the wall. I believe if you go to that company's website directly, you have a variety of colors (wood stained) to choose from (a bit more money). We are extremely afraid of using plastic (of any type) to store our dog food (and human food!) due to the chemicals within the plastic. Contrary to what people might think, the dog food doesn't get stale in the barrel either. Highly recommend!
